Please note that if the water temp is over 67 degrees, you should not fish the West Fork of The Kickapoo. Any temps over 67 degrees can be dangerous for trout and catching them in such warm water may kill them. Catching trout with water temps over 70 degrees will likely result in their death. On hot days, it is recommended only to fish the West Fork in the morning otherwise you are better off fishing the cooler streams that feed into the West Fork.
