STREAM Girls Annual Learn to Fly Fish Event (Hosted by CRTU)

Come join Coulee Region Trout Unlimited in partnership with the Girl Scouts of America for this year’s STREAM Girls 2026.
Spend the day exploring a stream, learning to fly cast, tying a fly, learning about bugs in our streams, making art, making memories and friends and most importantly having fun.

This year’s event will be on August 8th, 2026 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at The West Fork Sport Club in Avalanche, WI.
No cost to participate, and you do not have to be a Girl Scout to participate. Ages 10-15 years old.

9:50 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.- Fly Rod Casting
10:40 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. – Fly Tying
11:30 a.m. to Noon – Go with the Flow
Noon to 12:30 p.m. – Lunch
12:40 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Creek Critters
1:40 p.m. to 2:20 p.m. – Scavenger Hunt
2:40 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Bracelet Making
3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Graduatio
